The topic of physician-assisted death has hit West Virginia with Amendment 1 on the ballot for the November general election. Amendment 1 would change the State Constitution to prohibit “the practice of medically assisted suicide, euthanasia, or mercy killing of a person.” Reverend Valerie Lovelace is the Executive Director of Maine Death with Dignity and she joins Talkline for a discussion on the potential pros of physician-assisted death.
