The Spring Mills Cardinals delivered a dominant performance in their Class AAAA semifinal against Spring Valley, securing a 92-51 victory and a spot in the state championship game. Determined to avoid a slow start, as seen in their previous quarterfinal, Spring Mills came out firing, scoring the first 18 points of the game. Their exceptional shooting, highlighted by a state tournament record 18 three-pointers, and efficient ball movement, with 24 assists and only six turnovers, overwhelmed Spring Valley. Akwasi Opoku-Achampong led the charge with 24 points and eight three-pointers, while Caleb Thomas contributed 22 points, 17 rebounds, and eight assists. Spring Mills's offensive efficiency and team-oriented play proved too much for Spring Valley, who struggled to keep pace with the Cardinals' hot shooting and cohesive attack.
