Tug Valley overcame a second-half surge from Greater Beckley Christian to secure a 71-63 victory and advance to the state final. After holding a nine-point halftime lead, Tug Valley saw it quickly evaporate as Greater Beckley Christian tied the game early in the third quarter. However, Ashton Davis ignited the Panthers' offense with a series of crucial three-pointers, scoring eight points in the late third and another eight in the fourth, ultimately leading his team to victory. Davis finished with 21 points, 16 of which came in the second half, and connected on five of eight three-point attempts. Despite a strong performance from Greater Beckley Christian's Drew Fitzwater, who scored a game-high 26 points, Tug Valley's strong shooting and ability to capitalize on turnovers proved decisive. Braydun Ferris contributed 20 points and eight assists, while Bryson Elia and Kaden Hale added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Tug Valley's ability to hit key three-pointers and maintain composure at the free-throw line in the closing minutes secured their spot in the championship game.
