Here we are the 2nd day of the second week at deer camp. Jerod and I make the mile trip up the mountain to our favorite hunting areas. Still cold and still windy. Let's see what happens.

Day 3: Camp Charlie
Here we are day 3 of rifle season at Camp Charlie. Right off the bat Jerod starts having some action. Temperatures are really cold and colder temps and wind is moving in.

Day 4: Camp Charlie, Extreme Wind!!!
Thursday, December 5th, was not a good day to hunt on the mountain. Extreme wind gusts of up to 50 to 55 mph! Jerod and I didn't go out till the afternoon, and we hunted the low hollows to try and stay out of the wind.

Day 5: Camp Charlie, After The Wind
Here we are back on the mountain after the extreme winds and cold we had on Thursday. This will be our last hunt before heading home.
