Cameron defeated Heartland Christian 68-30 in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference 1A semifinal. The Dragons took control of the game early with a 10-0 run and never looked back. Kendra Thomas hit four three-pointers in the first half and finished the game with 17 points. Maci Neely, the lone returning starter from Cameron's run of three consecutive Class A state championship teams, led CHS with 18 points. Rachel Reynolds scored 8 points for Heartland Christian. The Dragons will face the winner of the Madonna-Frontier semifinal in Saturday's championship game in St. Clairesville, Ohio. Tip time is set for 2 p.m.
